Ford Documentation for your Car There are two ways to get info about your Fairlane Torino or Ranchero. You can call Ford Motor company directly or you can contact Kevin Marti of Martiautoworks. Ford report is free but limited on the info they will provide. There are often errors in the reports from Ford. Kevin reports are produced using the same data as Ford but there is more research done on Kevins part. This results in a more accurate report. Kevin also include information Ford does not.

You can now get information on your car from Ford directly. This service is offered through their Customer Assistance Center. All you have to do is call their toll free number, 800-392-3673. There is a recording, select the option "ask a question about a Ford, Mercury or Lincoln vehicle" When you speak to an operator tell them you would like to have report on the options your car was assembled with. Be clear that you don't want them to just decode the Vin number. I have a copy below of what you will receive. This is from my Cobra. If you do receive a report like this I would appreciate you making a photo copy and sending it to me with your registry information. Thanks Jon
A side note. Many people make a big fuss about Cobra's; are they called Torino or Fairlane Cobra's. I have always maintained it is simply a 1969 Cobra but any designation works as long as you are happy with it. Please note how Ford refers to my car as.
